Villa Catani, set amidst the beauty of Crete, is now available for disabled visitors.

The Arts Villa, owned and operated by Katerina and Kostas, is located in Kalamaki, Nea Kidonia, Hania. The villa provides level entrances to the ground floor studio, west bedroom and games room. Entrance to main floor is accessible from the parking area, as well as from the dinning terrace by the kitchen and by the open-air tower's deck. The upper floor is accessed only with the lift, which necessitates a step down and a portable wooden ramp.

There are two accessible washrooms, which include a roll-in shower at the ground floor and a bathroom on the main floor. Both have 45cm high toilettes (with 8 cm added lids), accessible washbasins, and gripping bars. The bath-lid is 53cm high. The small step at its entrance is accessed by a portable wooden ramp. The ground floor's newly installed roll-in shower room has a 90cm wide door that opens outwards and outside the wash basin.

The other shower room and bathrooms have a small step, inward doors and not enough room to maneuver.

The main floor's bedroom and bathroom (which were specially designed to facilitate the needs of my oldest daughter, Stella, who has Cerebral Palsy) have doors that open outwards and are wider.

All other bedrooms have inward doors at least 75 cm wide and room to maneuver. All bedrooms with twin beds can be 45cm high. A lift gives access to all floors. It has 80cm X 110cm free space, but must be used only for guests with mobility problems and their assistants at their own responsibility.

There is curving, slopping path leads to the pool, but a pool-hoist has not yet been installed.

Rates

Prices are for 6 people per week for the whole villa plus the price for each additional person. Changeover day is Tuesday, other days + 30%.
Prices are in Euros and include rental of your holiday villa, maid service, (linen change) and welcome basket. Price Excludes - flights and transfers, car rental, extra cleaning, swimming towels.
