Berlin, Germany: Bax Pax Hostel

The barrier- free hostel is set in the middle of Berlin. The facilities include an elevator and a wheelchair accessible shower/ WC.

German law requires that all public facilities opened later than 1999 be government controlled, so 10% of the hostel's 60 beds are wheelchair friendly.

BaxPax Hostel is designed for independent wheelchair travelers who don't want to spend a lot of money on a luxury hotel in order to have accessible facilities.
